    Good Quality Cello Strings for people who like a Warm Tone

    I have purchased these strings after having used D'Addario Helicore for a while simply because they were marginally cheaper and my teacher recommended them to me. The A string is very forgiving in that it does not screech like the D'Addario A string which is a plus in my opinion. However, I find that these strings sound very damp and almost restrained, I have to put a lot of effort in to get a big sound, something I didn't have to do with my Helicore strings. They also have a slightly slower bow response in comparison to D'Addario Helicore but overall I would recommend these strings for beginner to intermediate cellists! :)
