At Whitehorse Music, every violin, viola and cello we sell comes with our signature Professional Set-Up.
Each set-up can take us anywhere between 2-5 hours minimum, and covers everything from planing the fingerboard, fitting a custom bridge, fitting the pegs, lowering the nut, fitting the soundpost and selecting quality European strings matched to each instrument's sensibilities.
We consider this set-up to be essential to the playability of instruments for students and performers and a crucial part of bringing out the best possible sound from each individual instrument.
